The Hazeldenes App provides Hazeldenes employees the opportunity to conduct the Hazeldenes health screen remotely, which assesses for individual risk of the five major preventable chronic diseases.
Employees can also access their health screen reports through the app, which indicate green (low risk), amber (moderate risk), or red (high risk) for each of the following:AnxietyDepressionStressDiabetesBMIIn their report, employees will be provided with customised advice based on their risk level for each of the above conditions, guiding users in the appropriate direction to seek professional clinical input if needed.This app also provides information and educational content to help employees identify common work-related stressors, as well as evidence-based tools and strategies to help manage their mental implications.
These tools are located in the self care section of the app and are designed to build mental resilience by working to enhance and maintain several components of wellbeing including sleep habits/ sleep hygiene, physical activity, social activity and positive thinking.
This app was developed with funding from Work Safes WorkWell Mental Health Improvement Fund (MHIF), as part of a longitudinal intervention to enhance mental wellness in the manufacturing industry in Victoria.
